Wise words once again.

I find 3.30am is when my mind goes into overdrive with all the things I feel I need to tackle swirling like a tsunami in my mind. Sometimes I get up and write a list and have a cup of tea. Sometimes I just write the list without switching on the light and go back to sleep… In the morning I can’t read the list and my list suddenly doesn’t seem so dramatic.

Yes, to every single one of these.

I used to feel guilty, too, but it got to the stage that my health would suffer as I pushed through being ill, to make sure I did all I thought I had to do.

It's only recently that I was exposed to this revelation.

They can replace you at work, but who will replace you in your family?

So I've done a lot of the above, because my school life and writing is equally important, but nothing comes above my family and my health.

Sweet darling Amanda, I just had to tell you how much I am enjoying To Love and Be Loved. It is wonderful. It is actually the first book I have been able to read for many months. Covid came along and ‘blew me out of my saddle’ to the point I have not been able to read more than a few sentences at a time. I am about 40% through the book. I just wanted to say thank you. I definitely agree with doing the worst chores first, I start a list with worst down to best. It makes me feel like I have achieved lots xx
