Now I know why you opted for a glass of water when you kindly came to speak at my WI!

Since being introduced to delicious real coffee I when I went on an exchange holiday to Austria when I was 11, I have been a fussy coffee drinker ever since. I can’t abide wishy washy instant coffee that tastes like dishwater ( not that I’ve ever tried dishwater!) I need my coffee to be strong, full of flavour and with a decent topping of crema. Espressos are my favourite. I would never, ever order a latté. When I went to Italy, I was in coffee heaven!

Oh Mandy, you really are the coffee to my tea!

I can't drink the stuff. I don't like the taste! I don't think I'm grown up enough!

Imagine what I was like, working for Nescafe, having tasting sessions about different coffee beans and the different drinks! 🤢

Now, tea, though.

My cuppa has to be perfect.☕

Whether it's my first cup of breakfast tea, a chai latte in a coffee shop or homemade Indian Masala chaa, it has to be just right!

I don't profess to be a professional barista, but I have a Tassimo machine for when you come and visit!

Cup or mug? ☕💕

I’m the same Amanda. Cannot drink weak instant murky coffee. Yuk. Although I’m not quite as fussy as you 😂😂

Love a good coffee, probably why we bought a proper machine that grinds, tamps and steams. Coffee heaven x

This did make me laugh 😂 it reminded me of a time I went to Starbucks with a friend. I was a daily visitor at this particular branch so knew the staff well. My friend listened to me discussing with the Barista why I preferred Guatemalan to Ethiopian coffee beans - the look on my friend’s face was priceless 🤣🤣🤣 She ordered a tea 😂

Another great blog! I love great coffee but drink the instant in the office rather than no coffee! The caffeine keeps me going. After lunch I swap to caffeine-free herbal tea bags (I know, you don’t think much of those). If I drink coffee in the afternoon I spend the night counting cracks on the ceiling instead of sleeping 😂 . My daughter was a barista with the mermaid one, sometimes she gets a coffee and says that it’s a ‘dead shot’, certainly tastes funky!

I wish you a yummy coffee week ahead!

Xxx
