On one of my first dates with my husband, we walked past a card shop, he told me that they only sold second hand cards! Therefore as well as finding the right sentiments you also had to find the card with the same to and from names……for years I didn’t use that card shop 🙈 😂

I too am trusting, and have been caught out many a time over the years! I still would rather believe what I am told than be sceptical. Does that make me gullible? xx😘

Oh I am also far too trusting and gullible.

I’ve eaten chocolate soap, almost climbed through the boot of a strangers car AND the best one yet, as a military wife I didn’t know the gate guards (planes outside each RAF station) weren’t real. I remember when we got married and moved to our first house at RAF Halton my darling husband telling me they flew it in and landed it on the runway, took the wings off, drove it on the back of a lorry and put the wings back on and it still worked if they ever needed it. I never questioned it until we moved to RAF Coltishall and there was a Jaguar fast jet and again I asked how they got it to the gate. He told me they flew it in and parked it. This went on for years until one day (about 8years later) it came up in conversation at a social event through his work and I found out they’re shells and can’t fly. I did wonder why no one ever tried to steal them. Many laughs have been had at my expense over the years but that one (22 years in) is still one that breaks the ice at any function and it turns out there are many spouses who had no idea they aren’t real planes either!

I would rather be gullible and see the good in everyone than be mistrustful about everything I’m told. I’m a stickler now for fact checking wherever I can but I don’t think I want to go through life being skeptical, where’s the magic and imagination in that?

I was raised by the sweetest mama. I trusted her. I was almost an adult when I realized that all mama’s were not like mine. It broke my heart!

Oh how I love this blog!! You bring laughter and sunshine to my mornings 🧡 Yes I am gullible and I never seem to understand a joke. I used to be pretty embarrassed about this along with my uncoordination. Since I’ve gotten older (one way defined I have realized by publishers as 35 to 50 and this is young to me) I’ve become able to say I just don’t get it. I can laugh at myself. Oh and my sisters have always rolled their eyes while I still have that dazed and confused look 😂

Being an Elementary PE teacher and gullible is not the best of combos. Sometimes I have to rely on my students if what they are saying is true. Lol

Your outtakes crack me up and I appreciate them so much.

I don’t think I’m gullible but I do have a trusting nature and I do feel very let down when people don’t do what they say they will. I tend to take it personally which is absolutely ridiculous but I start wondering why they didn’t do what they said they were going to do and was it my fault? I can stew on it for weeks 🙄🙄

Aw Sis! This just makes you all the more lovable!

I don't think I've been too gullible, but I am trusting, for sure! 🥰
