Oh my goodness to all of them Mandy! But I am so glad your brother is okay! What a horrible scare!
You are right, we all have those moments, from me losing my son at London Zoo (He was 4 and deicided that droolinng over the contents of a vending machine was more favourable than walking along with us!) to my near miss on the M6, when I totalled my car and halted both sides of the Motorway (I was even on the radio, the ambulance guy told me - not quite the claim to fame I was after!) It was so busy, I couldn't believe that despite my car hitting the middle barrier and spinning across all three lanes, I didn't hit anyone else, as it was a busy day! But I did cause a huge traffic jam! I got off lightly with a little whiplash.
Oh this reminded me of my now 6 foot something 22 year old at the age of 3 escaping from me as e shopped for Christmas gifts from granddad, I suddenly noticed he was gone. They short the doors as is protocol, yet he was found by a lovely old lady wandering the car park out side. I held him a little tighter that night xx
Sorry, I’m just now catching up after struggling to get past the residual feelings from the funeral I attended last Wednesday. Wow! You really have had a few close shaves 😱. The worst ones for me are all at the junction between M1 and M62 when I am following road rules, going round the roundabout, preparing to turn off onto the M62 and approximately 1 in 6 working days someone will come hurtling round the inside Lane from westbound M62 to shoot across the front of my car, with millimetres to spare, onto the M1 north. I arrive at work shaking at the closeness of the near miss. I even indicate to ensure that drivers know I am continuing round the roundabout, makes no difference, I end up thanking my guardian angel for yet another narrow escape! Xx
Well I’ve really only had those adventures in books. Although I wouldn’t those particular ones I think I’ve led a pretty dull life. I’m so glad you made it through all that safely for you and for us because we’d miss your lovely books and blogs 🧡
Omg I think I’ve been lucky in life as despite wracking my brains I can’t think of a single think that has happened to me.
More importantly I’m so glad your brother is ok 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you lovely Lynda Xx

Ritu - this makes my heart jump!
It made several parts of me jump, too, Sis! 😳

These children certainly know how to scare the living daylight out of us!
