I’m 71 and I don’t have a single old age wrinkle I do however have millions of laughter lines which I embrace with memories of when they appeared. Xxx

Me too Amanda! I am into everything natural, we have to have enough needles with blood tests and vaccinations for me to want to put myself through Botox or any surgical procedure. If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it, if others don’t like my face or my body as it is, that is their problem not mine! You go girl! Xxx

You are so right - this is my philosophy - ageing gratefully and naturally! X

I loove this one and I’m saying I have never done much to my face or body but have accepted the ageing process. For some reason I was upset when I turned 30 but ok since. I know this is not true but an “elephant’s scrotum” had me rolling on the floor. My poor husband was a bit worried about me for a bit until I read that part to him and he joined me 🤣🤪🤩😳. Thank you for the boost to my morning. Now, having said that, I do agree with you on the second part. My two granddaughters are beautiful but they wear eyelashes that must be four inches long. Thankfully no injections or surgery. They do dye their hair back and forth from almost black to blonde/brown. I told them I had the thickest eyebrows and lashes when I was their age and now I have to draw on eyebrows if I want any. Sometimes I get them in the wrong wrinkle so the sides don’t match 😘

You are wonderful and I feel exactly the same. Why do we have to even wear makeup, nevermind all the other things!

The ‘Bottox Beauties’ often end up looking much worse (I wonder if they realise?)

You are a beautiful soul both inside and out, (always nodding my head in agreement when you’re on Channel 5)

I don’t often bother with makeup these days, I don’t think I ever wore it regularly anyway.

Love Tangerine, love your books, love you lovely lady! Keep being you please and the worlds a better place!

Well you have made my day! Thank you Deb. Today is a no make-up, no bra, in my pj's, wrapped in a blanket kind of day. Love you too! X

It's so very obvious the celebs who have had these procedures, and if that's what they want, it's their choice. I can't understand why some see the need to lie about it? Especially when they have had so many!

Yes...grow old gratefully and naturally. I can relate to the whiskers which regrow with such strength, it takes all your effort to pull it out! ( Lol )

You are beautiful inside and out Mandy which is why you are so well loved! xxx

Mandy, I'm a huge advocate for Love The Skin You're In!

I've never been about the whole make up, and treatments, etc.

And I try to install that into my 13 year old, who insists life cannot exist without mascara. I'm sure I was unaware of what mascara was at that age!

Maybe I've been blessed with good genes, but I've not suffered with skin problems, etc. And I've got by, just fine with my naked face.

Yes the wrinkles are appearing, slowly, and I've decided to embrace the grey (thank you pandemic, for making me stop the dye, and realising it doesn't look awful!) But, at the end of the day, that's me!

(Of course, I shall not be stopping with my eyebrow and 'tache threading. Sorry, but I cannot subject anyone to my caterpillar brows and whiskers!)

Great read, Sis! 💜

Yes. This. Friends half my age are having Botox. I just don’t get it. Why pump poison into your body? I toyed with the idea of a facelift for about five minutes then remembered I hate injections, faint at blood and don’t deal well with pain! Bring on the wrinkles 😀
